ACOD with FamilyKind offers a Support Group for those who were over the age of 18 when their parents divorced.
The ACOD committee of FamilyKind has formed to help identify and increase awareness of the impact of divorce on adult children. The committee was created to provide resources and programs that foster resilience and recognition of those impacts in order to empower adult children of divorce. We offer support groups throughout the year.

TAKE HEART and REGAIN CONTROL OVER TRAUMA FROM YOUR EMOTIONS, ANGER or ANOTHER
In this 8-week virtual group, we will distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate expressions of anger.

Workshop Description: In this eight-week virtual group, we will distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate expressions of anger while exploring the hidden emotions behind the anger particularly in view of relational trauma. We will focus on healing with positive strategies and responses to deal more effectively with anger, extreme narcissism and gaslighting.
