Maxwell Gebauer is the Project Manager and Google Ads Expert for our communications team at FamilyKind. He graduated with a degree in Finance from Franklin Pierce University, while completing four years as a student-athlete for the baseball program. In the past he has worked on different marketing campaigns for small businesses, as well as handling social media and outreach. His duties with FamilyKind involve working with the communications team, running digital ad campaigns, working on marketing strategy, and handling the social media and outreach.

Gia Poston is a volunteer helping FamilyKind's Communications/Marketing department. She is a Junior in California State University San Marcos majoring in Marketing. Gia's lifelong goal is to be an individual who positively influences and wholeheartedly impacts the people around her!
She is passionate about Marketing and committed to making a mark in the Business industry. Gia implements her leadership skills and interpersonal skills through networking and building relationships. She is also seasoned in volunteering and traveling, having donated her time and skills for many years to help and enrich the people of Haiti, Belize and Thailand, as well as in the United States.

Brigitte has been a volunteer and special projects coordinator for FamilyKind since 2016. Brigitte developed a strong sense of devotion to FamilyKind after learning about the organization’s powerful mission to support children and families in shifting circumstances. Brigitte brings her professional experience in Project Management to assist FamilyKind in any way that she can, and plans to be a part of FamilyKind organization for many years to come.
Brigitte resides in New York City with her family of four, and their three ‘foster failure’ cats.

Joey is a long time intern for FamilyKind and assists with special projects and events. He works full time as a medical assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Manhattan and is planning to attend physician associate school next year. Joey graduated with a B.S in integrative neuroscience in May of 2021. In his free time, Joey enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing ice hockey.

The Honorable Judge Stella C. Schindler (Ret.) is a seasoned jurist, mediator, administrator, and litigator. Judge Schindler is an expert in implementing programs and policies and also in resolving complex issues and conflicts. She is experienced in leading large groups and is an excellent writer, educator, and public speaker. Judge Schindler has served as a judge and judicial hearing officer in the New York State Unified Court System for over twenty-five years in the Family and Criminal Courts where she has handled complex civil and criminal matters including custody, visitation, child support, juvenile delinquency, child abuse and neglect, adoptions, and domestic violence. Judge Schindler has also served as a special referee and hearing officer and continues to preside over attorney disciplinary proceedings for the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments, and other administrative hearings for New York State agencies.
