My name is Dennis Martinez, Colombian American, I was born in New York City, but i grew up primarily in Colombia. After graduating from mainstream high school, I made the decision to return to the United States of America because of the many opportunities for members of the deaf community here. After moving back to New York, I studied both English and American Sign Language. I earned an associate's degree in Business Administration from LaGuardia Community College. I was working as Deaf Service Advocate at Harlem Independent Living Center in NYC, but I am in Texas currently. I love being a part of the Deaf community and helping to spread accessibilities for the deaf community and spread deaf awareness to the hearing world.
